  • Tooth Fillings – This treatment addresses cavities or replaces lost fillings to relieve pain and prevent further decay.
  • Dental Crowns – These protective caps restore and shield damaged teeth, preventing additional harm and restoring your smile and bite.

Know What to Do in a Dental Emergency

Our dental practice is committed to providing quick, expert care for many types of urgent dental situations. While it’s important to seek professional help as soon as possible, here are some immediate steps you can take for several common dental emergencies:

  • Toothache – Rinse your mouth with warm water, then apply an ice pack on the outside of your cheek where the tooth is. Do not place aspirin directly on the gum as it can burn the tissue.
  • Loose Tooth – Don’t attempt to pull out the tooth. Instead, try to leave the tooth in place and avoid chewing on that side of your mouth. Call our team immediately for guidance.
  • Broken or Chipped Tooth – Rinse your mouth and any broken pieces with warm water. If there’s bleeding, apply gauze for about 10 minutes. To reduce swelling and pain, apply a cold compress on the outside of the cheek.
  • Knocked-Out Tooth – Pick up the tooth by the crown (white part), not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing. If possible, place it back in the socket. If not, keep it moist in milk or saliva and bring it to the office with you.
  • Soft Tissue Injury – Rinse your mouth with a mild salt-water solution. Apply pressure with a clean, damp cloth to stop any bleeding. Use an ice pack for swelling. If the bleeding doesn’t stop within a few minutes, go to the nearest emergency room or urgent treatment center.

Remember, these are temporary measures. For any dental emergency, it’s crucial to contact our office right away. We offer emergency appointments to address your needs promptly and prevent further complications.
